Mark “Mac” McEntire
Mac draws from his professional experiences as a Lab Tech, Funding Manager, Financial Director,
Operations Director and Consultant for such notable companies as Del Monte’s Research Center,
Union Bank, Wyland Galleries, Citicorp, Monsanto and Wells Fargo.
Currently, Mac is a Logistics Section Chief and Financial Services Consultant for O’Brien’s Response
Management. Past assignments have included oil spills in the San Francisco Bay, Long Beach, CA.
Harbor, Mobile Alabama, Houston, Texas, and Kingston, Tenn. His most extended assignment was
spending almost a year in Louisiana where he was the Logistics Section Chief for all of South
Louisiana as a result of the unfortunate and fatal BP oil rig collapse and spill. He was put on standby
for the disaster in Haiti, as well as an oil spill in Israel. He also conducts Disaster Drill training for
Chevron, Valero, U.S. Oil, BP and other refineries, terminals and Tanker/Shipping companies up and
down the West Coast.
As a result of his efforts in Louisiana, he has received commendations from both the U.S. Coast
Guard, and the Louisiana National Guard.
Mac now resides in Walnut Creek, California with his wife JoEllen, (also a member of the Blue Devils Hall of Fame), where she currently sits on the Board of Directors for both the World Class, and Open Class, DCI National Champion Concord Blue Devils.
Mac would also like to extend an invitation to all the Freelancers that he taught from 1982 – 1985 from the greater Los Angeles area to come see him at the next camp.
